Clothing and Household Goods
Each family can come in once every calendar month to fill two grocery sacks with merchandise.
Infant Layette
A complete infant layette contains the following:

  • 1 new quilt
  • 2 receiving blankets
  • knit sweater and cap
  • outer carryall
  • 2 bibs
  • a changing pad
  • a pack of disposable diapers
  • Undershirt
  • Socks or booties
  • 4 one-piece sleepers
  • 2 one-piece gowns
  • Dress up clothes
  • Baby powder
  • Rattle and stuffed toy

    Homeless Survival Kit

    The kit contains a sleeping bag, tent, sleeping pad, tarp, camping gear, stove, lantern and candles.
    Agricultural Work Gear
    For those starting a job working outdoors there are heavy work clothes, raingear, boots, gloves and hats.
    Clothing For Work and Job Interviews
    Professional work attire, suits, slacks, dresses, shirts, ties, scarves and shoes are reserved for individuals transitioning to new employment.
    Emergency Household Assistance
    We reserve a full line of household goods for individuals and families whose homes have been destroyed by fire or other disasters.

    Special Programs

    School Program
    Each year in August the Center provides over 800 schoolchildren with new shoes, socks, underwear, school supplies, two school outfits and a coat.
    Christmas Food and Gift Baskets
    The center coordinates the efforts of local churches, individuals and agencies to provide food baskets to over 1200 families. Gifts are distributed to children, disabled, handicapped and seniors.
